I am from southwest va and I believe the way the Holy Bible says about this. As it says in Romans chapter one verse 26-27"for this cause God gave them unto vile affections : for even their women did change the natural use into which is against natrue: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the women, burned in their lust one toware another men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was met." This is what the word of God sayes about it and i think it is very clear for any one that reads this passage. But if you dont blieve me on what is says pick up a King james version bible and read it for your self. I know i am not in the main streem but neither was Jesus Christ either. I seems now a days the only reliegon that has free speach is athiest. for if you believe in Jesus Christ and him curifyed then you have only certain places you can even talk about him now . but the bible says a nation that forgets God will be turned into Hell. America as great as she once was has forgotten God .
My family is the first family shown in those "emotional ads." The family consists of me, my partner of 10 years, Sue, my parents, Paul & Jeanette, my sister Nikki and her new husband, Steve. My father testified before the legislative committee in favor of marriage equality. He spoke about how he loves his daughters equally, and wants the law to treat us equally. He spoke about my partner, and how much he and my mother, in fact, my entire, very large, extended family loves my partner. My family wants to welcome Sue into the family, legally, in the very same way they welcomed Steve. We want to do it in Maine, where my family has lived for generations. The safety and security of my family through equal protection under the law, does not put the safety and security of any other family at risk.
